Ever since my daughter started school in Italy, we’ve been coming to Milan twice a year. This time, we were just there for a week.
As always, we followed our routine: on the first full day, we visited Palazzo Reale and MUDEC, two exhibition places we enjoy the most for their curation and display of art.
Later in the week, we visited art museums in Venice, Bergamo, Turin, and Lugano, Switzerland. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the trip.
Museo Del Novecento (Milan, Italy)
Umberto Boccioni, Elasticity, 1912
Amedeo Modigliani, Portrait of the Painter Frank Haviland, 1914
Giorgio de Chirico, Hall of Apollo, 1920
Palazzo Reale (Milan, Italy)
This was my favorite piece at the exhibit “Picasso the Stranger.”
